With my colleagues at Brown University School of Medicine, I have been developing a series of self-paced training modules that focus on the mastery of key MI skills.  The first three modules will address reflective listening, rolling with resistance, and collaborative teaching, respectively.  We will be pilot testing these modules with pediatricians, patient centered medical home staff, and psychiatric rehabilitation counselors.  Our goal is to refine MI training methods to allow for the acquisition of specific skill-sets with immediate applicability to clinical practice.  I will keep you all updated on the progress of this project.
