Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers  (www.motivationalinterview.org)
The international organization of MI trainers, established in 1996 by William R.  Miller, Ph.D., Stephen Rollnick, Ph.D.  and a small group of MI trainers that had completed the Training New Trainers workshops led by Dr’s Miller and Rollnick.  The organization now numbers well over 300 members and is the source of state of the art research and training in Motivational Interviewing.  Dr. Rose has been a member of the steering committee of MINT since 1999.

A wide variety of information is posted on clinical, research and training issues. Visitors will find a comprehensive bibliography of published material relating to MI and associated subjects. The site also has an international list of trainers from many practice fields, all of whom have attended Training New Trainers workshops led by the originators of MI.

MI in Practice: The Edinburgh Interview 2006

Jeff Allison Training Ltd has published a CD providing individual learners and trainers with a multi-layered learning environment. At its core is a 50-minute digital audio recording and transcript of a real-life interview - a demonstration of highly skillful practice - between a community psychiatric nurse and a patient with an alcohol problem. This is a detailed case study of one patient’s treatment experience and its outcome.
